Judy's Friendship Star Stitchers Present  'Good works for a Good Cause' April 26, 2008' from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm

We are busy working on our Spring  Quilt Show for a Charitable Cause and have firmed up our schedule with the Hampshire Middle School.  We have reserved Saturday April 26 for the big day.  Due to the growth and complexity of our annual quilt show we are moving the show to slightly warmer weather to facilitate show set-up and attendance. This will be our eighth  show (Mystery Unveiling and Quilt Show) in Hampshire and the second fund raiser for a charitable organization.  

Customers are cordially invited to unveil their Mystery Quilts and or enter their personal quilts for display.  We will also have a separate area for donated mini quilts as well as a section for original works submitted by area quilters. Mystery Quilts will be unveiled on the stage. A section of the floor will also be set aside for Dear Jane Quilts and a quilt bed turning.

This year's quilt show receipts (less rental fees) will again be donated to the Gilda Club of Chicago and the Ovarian Cancer Coalition.  Nominal prizes will be awarded.  Ask for an entry form in the shop or download a quilt entry form (pdf).

Please email your entry as an attached file to quiltnsew@msn.com, or fax a copy to 847 683-7457, or drop off a copy in the shop. We also need volunteers to help set up, take down and participate during the show hours.
